The death occurred at the Riverview Manor on June 26, 2019 of Edna May MacKenzie, born June 1, 1930, Beaton’s Mills Gairloch, Melville. Lovingly remembered by sons Jimmy (Edith) Hayter and Irving (Dorothy) Hayter; grandchildren Jeanie (Ronnie) Nicholson, Billy, Aaron and Lori Hayter, Charlene and Steven Hayter, Gordon and Jamie Essray, Lisa (Martin) Birt and Jerry Gorill; and many great-grandchildren. Predeceased by parents Roderick and Marion (MacFarlane) MacKenzie; husband Lester Hayter; son Glen MacNevin; daughter Donna Moore; brothers David, and Clarence MacKenzie; and infant sister Ella May MacKenzie. Resting at Southern Kings & Queens Funeral Home, Murray River for visitation on Friday, June 28 from 6-8pm. Funeral service to be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 29 at 2pm. Interment in Murray River Cemetery. Donations may be made in Edna’s memory to the PEI Lung Association.
