It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Katharine (Kathy) Connors nee Munn born May 4, 1958 in Stanley, New Brunswick. She passed away peacefully in her home with loved ones late on Friday, July 12 after a brave battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed by her many friends, family and also by her colleagues at Nova Scotia Community College in Truro, Nova Scotia. Her role at the college suited her heart which was always open and full. She was loved by all and returned that love to all. Kathy was a giving person. She was one who gave all of herself and expected nothing in return. All of those in her family, especially her mother, siblings, nephews, nieces and many cousins have suffered a tremendous loss. However, all the wonderful memories of the good times will forever live on in their hearts as they learn to live without her presence. To our dearest Kathy, our mother, our sister, our daughter, our niece, aunt and friend, we love you and are waiting to meet you again. You left us too soon, but we accept that death is part of life's journey and we can only hope to emulate your courage and strength when our time is upon us. A committal service will be taking place on August 16, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Parker Ridge Upper Cemetery. A celebration of her life will take place after the service, details of which will be disclosed on the day of service. If you would like to honour Kathy's memory, a request was made by the family that donations be sent to a charity of choice in lieu of flowers.
