The death occurred peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Community Hospital, O’Leary on Wednesday July 24, 2019 of Florina Delaney, St. Edward aged 76 years. Beloved wife of the late Lemand Delaney. She was born in St. Edward on August 12, 1942, the daughter of the late Isaac and Evelyn Bernard. Cherished mother to Corinna Butler (Joey), Miminegash; Colleen Richards (David), St. Louis; Christine Butler (Paul Sharpe), St. Edward; Louann Gavin (Darryl), St. Louis; Rodney (Isabel), Fortune Cove; Brian (Mary), St. Edward; Terry, Alberta; Tyler, Ebbsfleet; Troy, Justin and Dillan at home, St. Edward. Loving grandmother to 43 grandchildren and great grandmother to 63 great grandchildren. Dear sister to Mary Bernard, Montreal, Anna Smith (Chester), O’Leary; Olive Dunn (Charlie), Elmsdale; Emile Bernard (Arlene), Alberton and sister-in-law Marie Bernard, Alberton. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road for visiting hours Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM and Friday 9-9:45 AM. Funeral will be held Friday July 26, 2019 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road with funeral mass at 10:30 AM. Interment in the church cemetery.
