TRASK, Deborah Lee – age 59, Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born September 1, 1959 in Grostenquin, France, she was a daughter of Dorothy A. (Durkee) Giroux, Hebron, and the late Raymond W. Hurlbert. Deborah devoted her life to her grandkids, having raised two of them for the past five years. She enjoyed knitting and will be remembered as being very strong-willed, right to her very last days. Aside from her mother Dorothy, she is survived by her husband, George Trask, as well as by children, Wayne Crowell, Fort MacMurray, AB; Denise (Mitch) Townsend, Hebron; Gregory (Gina) Giroux, Yarmouth; Lila (Bert) Earle, Brooklyn, Yarmouth Co., and Melissa Giroux, Yarmouth, along with 12 grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers, Brian (Marie) Giroux, Yarmouth; Paul (Marsha) Giroux, Darlings Lake; Craig (Margaret) Tanner, Burton, NB and a sister, Darlene Giroux (Owen), Toronto, ON. In accordance with the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth, and there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time.
