Putnam, Myrna Juanita, 66, of Truro, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2009 in the QE II Halifax Infirmary, Halifax. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Marjorie (McNutt) Hughes. Myrna was a Past Noble Grand of Diamond Rebekah Lodge #15, Truro.
She is survived by step-children, Earle, Harold (Doris), Diane; 4 grandchildren; sister-in-law Edna McCready; Aunts Ethel Fowlie and Madalene Richard; good friend Elmer Adshade.
She was predeceased by her husband Harold Walter Putnam.
Visitation will commence at 12:30pm with a Diamond Rebekah Lodge Service being held at 12:45pm and funeral service at 2 pm all on Wednesday September 9th, in the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Rev. Larry Harrison will officiate with burial to follow in Brookfield Westside Cemetery, Brookfield. Family flowers only.
