Frances Dunphy, a 20-year resident of Miners Memorial Manor, Sydney Mines, passed away peacefully at the Manor on Saturday, June 11, 2011.
Born in North Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Eldridge and Annie Gouthreau of North Sydney.
She is survived by her son, Joe Fougere, Edmonton; and her daughter, Pauline; granddaughters, Joelle Fougere and Jennifer Nolan; two great-granddaughters, Taya and Marve Nolan, all in Edmonton. Also surviving are her extended family at Miners Memorial, especially Cathy Ann Forrest.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Fougere, her second husband, Chester Dunphy, brothers, Sylvester, Edgar, Leo, Blowers and Russell.
There will be a private visitation and service in Francis Funeral Home, today (Monday) beginning at 2 p.m. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Sydney.
