The family of the late Lorne Currie would like to thank everyone for their support following the death of our loved one Lorne. To all who attended the funeral, to Father Leo Boone who celebrated the Mass and for the prayers at the cemetery. To those who came to visit, sent food, Mass cards, memorials, sympathy cards, donations to the many charities, flowers, phone calls, monetary gifts, e-mail messages and the ladies who provided the lunch following the service. To Father Norman McPhee for his visits to our home, to the readers Hildegarde O’Neil, Paul O’Neil and Sharon McIntyre (Halifax), to eucharistic ministers Anna Kubik and Betty O’Neil, to gift bearers Debbie Remo and Danette Doucette sisters-in-law. To Harold Lever and choir for the beautiful hymns, organist Frances Campbell and to Lorne’s hockey team the Crusaders for the honor guard. To the many people who visited Lorne in the hospital. Thanks to Drs. MacVicar, McLauchlin and Malik. To the doctors and nursing staff of 8A and 8B at the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax for your loving care of Lorne.
