KING, MARIE EVA - Marie Eva King (Roy) of Riverview, NB, formerly of Murray Settlement passed away at Monarch Hall, Riverview on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the age of 90. Born January 3, 1921 in Acadieville, she was the daughter of the late Francois and Marie (Martin) Richard. Eva will be sadly missed by her 2 daughters, Yvette (Andre Morin), of Laval, QC and Joanne (Kim Jones), of Riverview NB; son Daniel of Bathurst, NB; daughter-in-law, Therese Roy, of Murray Settlement, NB; her six grandchildren, Gaetan (Danielle), Gabriel (Manon), Ginette (Bernard), Rejean, Crystal (Michael), Travis; her six great grandchildren, Marie-Claude, Janice, Marc, Jade, Celine, Elizabeth. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Ernestine Gaudet, Aurore Roy, Beatrice Leger, brother-in-law Jean-Baptiste Arsenault and many nieces and nephews. Eva was predeceased by her husband, Joseph (1996) and by sons Roland, Yvon and infant twins Andre and Leo. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Family will be receiving relatives and friends at the Salon La Colombe, 11325 hwy 126 in Rogersville on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 from 1PM until the departure for the funeral mass which will be held at the Notre-Dame de Fatima RC Church in Collette, at 4pm. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff of Monarch Hall for their loving and compassionate care of Eva during her stay. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to the Colette Cemetery in Eva’s memory.
