During this time of sorrow we learn how much our family and friends mean to us. The family of the late Douglas White of Placentia Bay would like to thank all of you for your kindness and sympathy at a time when it was deeply appreciated. A special thank you to his granddaughter, Pandora Nichols, who took such great care of her grandmother during this difficult time - you are truly an angel. Thank you to all the in-laws who helped keep things together for us. Harold and Shirley for opening your home to family members who had to travel we are forever grateful. Wayne and Jane thank you for the gift of friendship you gave of so generously over the years. Diane and Jose thanks for the mail pick ups and "ticket" purchases and friendship shown. Thanks to Father Jerome and Deacon Des Keating for making the Mass so personable. To the members of the Choir and St. Anne's Sodality thank you for your visits and prayers as well as the luncheon you served. Thanks and appreciation to the staff of Lions Manor Nursing Home, especially th staff of Unit One, who gave such excellent care to Dad in his final days. Thanks to all who visited, sent flowers, gave donations of food and monetary gifts to the Children's Wish Foundation.
