It is with deep sadness that the family announce the passing of Franklyn McDonald on September 9, 2009.
He died at the Brampton Civic Hospital in Ontario, after a short battle with cancer.
Born in New Waterford, he was the son of Margaret (McInnis) and the late Duncan J. McDonald.
He lived in Ontario over 40 years and worked for Apex Group until his retirement three years ago.
Besides his mother, he is survived by siblings, Alex and Michael (Laurie), New Waterford; Blair (Shannon), Fall River; Louise, Bedford; Ann Marie (Frank) and Dianne, Ontario. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Veronica (Corbett) McDonald; his father and a sister in infancy.
Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will take place at a later date in New Waterford.
He was a kind and generous son, brother and friend and will be greatly missed.
