Passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2011, Gertrude Wells, aged 75 years. Predeceased by husband Jim. Leaving to mourn daughters: Jane (Mark Bursey) and Judy (Fraser) Davidson; three precious grandchildren: Ellen and Ted Bursey and Selina Davidson. Gertrude also leaves to mourn her sister, Margaret (Peter Templeton) and sister-in-law Ruth Dawe; as well as other relatives and friends. The Wells family is grateful for the care provided to Mom by her many health care providers. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Kenny's Pond Retirement Residence and for the exceptional care she received during her stay at the Leonard A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit. The family will receive visitors at the Bowering Park Bungalow on Thursday, June 23, 2011 from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place from St. James United Church on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
