NOSEWORTHY, Bernice (nee Kelly) – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bernice Noseworthy (nee Kelly) on June 16, 2011, in Port Colborne, Ont. Predeceased by her husband George, son Thomas, daughter Karen and brother Francis. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories daughter, Colleen; sons: Lawrence, Dennis and Ted; granddaughter, Christine; grandson, Nick; son-in-law, Peter, all of Port Colborne; brothers: Donald, Gerald (Geraldine); sisters: Irma, Phyllis, Eileen Hearn, Mercedes Hollohan, all of St. John’s, N.L. In Bernice’s memory donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
POWER, Flora (Rendell) – A Memorial Service for Flora Clift (Rendell) Power will be held at St. Thomas’ Church on Monday, June 27 at 10:00 a.m., with a reception to follow in Canon Wood Hall. Passed quietly to the next life on March 13, 2011, Flora Clift (Rendell) Power of Poulsbo, Washington in her 81st year. Leaving behind daughters Cathy (Allan) of Merritt Island, Fla., and Diane (Brad) of Bremerton, WA, sister Elizabeth of Morrisburg, Ont., brother David (Joan) of St. John’s, grandchildren Katherine and Brendan of Bremerton, niece Jennifer (Evan) of Torbay and Marseille, nephews Philip (Pauline) of Coquitlam, BC, Ian of Ste. Adele, QC, Christopher (Laura) of Hampton, N.B. and Michael of St. John’s and a large number of relatives and friends. Predeceased by daughter, Rachel, and husband, John.
