It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Randolph Scott (Randy) Cyr of Laval, Quebec. Randy passed away at the Maison de soins Palliatifs de Laval on September 24, 2020 at the age of 58.

Randy was born in Toronto, son of the late Evelyn Blake and Henry Cyr. Randy is survived by two sons: Dario and Evan and their mother Maria Raimondo; two brothers: Rick (Donna) Cyr, New Brunswick and Tim; four sisters: Margaret, Patricia Winslow (David Opavsky ), Jo-Anne Waite and Roslyn.

He will be sadly missed by nephews and nieces: Philip (Kylie), Andrew (Stacey), Michelle MacDonald (Brian), Nicole Hoover (Brad), Cory Winslow, Grace and Lauren Waite and many more; and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces, great nephews and friends in Ontario, New Brunswick, Ontario, Saskatchewan and Quebec. He will be deeply missed by close friends Ariel Roberge and Sonia Barrasso.

Randy lived life to the fullest and is remembered lovingly for his sense of humor, smile and warmth. He enjoyed pro sports, music, fishing and hanging out with his friends. But, first and foremost, Randy was a father. His family takes great comfort in knowing that so much of Randy will carry on through his sons.

A small gathering of friends and family bid a tearful adieu to Randy. As per his wishes, his ashes will be laid to rest next to his father in New Brunswick.
