Parsons, Mary– nee: MacLean, succumbed to life to join God’s army of angels, on Monday, June 27th, 2011 at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton. Born in Antigonish, NS, on December 8th, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Colin and Florence (McGillvary) MacLean. Mary owned & operated Rose Marie dress shop in Liverpool, Nova Scotia. Volunteered with CWL Prince Albert, Sask., and assisted at North Battleford Mental Institution. Mary is survived by her daughters: Lana Parsons, Montreal, Lynn Harris, Moncton, sisters: Greta Bundy, Hamilton, Ontario, brothers: Bill MacLean, Annapolis Royal, NS, Morris MacLean, Lower Sackville, NS, grandchildren: Jeff Harris, Moncton, Mike Jobin, Montreal, Nathalie Jobin, Montreal, great Grandchildren: Dillon Harris, Moncton, Jaden Harris, Moncton, Josie Anne Jobin, Jesse Jobin, Zachery Frainetti all of Montreal. In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband: Alec Parsons (February 14th, 1992) sisters: Florence Hamilton, Rose Coulter, brothers: Colin MacLean and Don MacLean, and a grandson Wayne A. Harris, Visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, June 30th, 2011 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 am. The family would appreciate donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation, Pediatrics Unit. Interment was in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
