Loving wife to the late Norman Elias and mother to Ruth, Maureen, Janet and David. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchild, Joslin Sanger; her sisters, Christina Watson and Mary Crowley (Sydney).
She was predeceased by her father, John Hugh MacNeil (New Waterford), mother Lila Farrell (Londonderry, N.S.), stepfather, Jack Farrell (Christmas Island) and her brothers, Hugh and Stanley MacNeil (New Waterford).
Laura moved away from “God’s Country” years ago but her heart always remained on the Island.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Michael’s Church, London, Ont. on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at 10 a.m.
