COTTER, (Palmer, nee Brydon), Mildred June – 92, formerly of Kemptville, ON and Auburn, NS, passed away on June 17, 2011 in Tillsonburg, ON Mildred, a well-known school teacher in Kings County, was born September 12, 1918 in Black Rock, Kings Co, NS. She was the eldest of ten children born to the late Rupert and Edna (Pineo) Brydon. She is survived by her three children who loved her dearly, Robert (Sheila) Palmer, Toronto, ON; Claude (Eleanor) Palmer, Berwick, NS and daughter Elaine (David) Lyons, Kemptville, ON; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Lillian Winott, Kentville, NS; Marjorie MacPherson, White Point, NS; Jean (John) Ens, Round Hill, NS and Pearl (Willis) Huntley of White Point, NS; and her brothers, Edward, (Eleanor) and Avard (Judy) Brydon both of Black Rock, NS; together with many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Mildred was predeceased by her infant son Logan Palmer; 1st husband Wilbur Palmer; 2nd husband Clarence Cotter; brothers William and Phillip (Kathleen) Brydon; sister Leonore (Francis) Spinney. All who knew Mildred will remember her as a serious student and advocate of the Bible. By home visits and by many letters written to friends and family, Mildred shared the good things she learned from God’s Word. A memorial service will be held in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 337 Main Street, Kingston, NS on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 2:00 PM.
