ROCHON, JEAN MARIE VIANNEY - Jean Marie Vianney Rochon, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2011, at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Centre, Moncton, at the age of 79 years. Born on April 3, 1932, in Gatineau, QC, he was the son of the late Zotique Rochon and the late Elizabeth Lacombe. He was employed for 38 years with CIP in Gatineau, QC and in East River, NS. Mr. Rochon was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Council St. Alphonse de Ligouri, Moncton and in Buckingham, QC for 50 years and a Grand Knight during four of those years.
He leaves to mourn his daughter, Louise Faizandier (Lois Arsenault), of Perau, NS; two sons, Robert (Kim) of Riverview, NB, and Guy, of Lawrencetown, NS; a brother, Rémi, of Gatineau, QC; four grandchildren, Denis, Leanne, Amélie and Alexandre; a great-granddaughter, Léa; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his wife, Rita (née Lahaie) Rochon (2010), he is also predeceased by a daughter, Suzanne; two sisters, Lucienne and Florence; and by six brothers, Raymond, Roland, Jules, Benoit, Lucien and Ozéda.
