It is with great sadness that the family of the late Vivian Elizabeth Joy announce her passing on Monday, September 14th, 2009 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 68 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Frank Joy, sons: Tom Joy and Dan (Sherry) Joy, grandchildren: Zachary, Chelsea, Shane and Kaylee, sister Sheila (Kevin) Power, brothers: Maurice (Gloria) O’Connell, Tom (Elizabeth) O’Connell, Patrick (Rosella) O’Connell, Joseph (Mary) O’Connell, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents William and Loretta O’Connell and sister Minnie O’Reilly. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 17th at 2:00 PM from Fillatre’s Chapel, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue with Monsignor Edwin Gale officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Diabetic Association.
