Born October 18, 1937 in Hubbard, Saskatchewan, Anna Rose Gibson passed away peacefully to "Go To The Heavens" Wednesday, July 6, 2011 in Vernon, British Columbia.

She was predeceased by her parents John and Matilda, brothers Martin, Jack and Harold, and sister Edith.

She will be forever loved and missed by her husband Carman. Cherishing her memory are her sons Greg (Lisa), Darryl (Colleen), daughters Rhonda (Terry) and Sandie. She is further survived by her grandchildren Mike, Curtis, Emily, Connor, Bayise, Richard and great grandchildren Jordan, Brooklynn, sister Doreen and brothers Matt and Gus.

Anna dedicated her life to raising her family. She was a loving, giving wife, mother and friend who was always willing to give where she could and always had a smile on her face. She was an active member for 25 years of the Ladies Auxiliary F.O.E. #3557. Anna was an avid bingo player and she enjoyed volunteering and travelling. During her working career in the fruit and hospitality industry she made numerous friends.

A Celebration of Anna's Life will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, July 11, 2011 at Vernon Full Gospel Tabernacle (5871 Okanagan Landing Road, Vernon). Those wishing to do so, may make a memorial donation in Anna's name to North Okanagan Hospice Society (3506 - 27 Avenue, Vernon, BC V1T 1S4).
