Jacqueline Bourque
BOURQUE, SISTER JACQUELINE - Sister Jacqueline Bourque, in religion, Sister Marie-Jacqueline, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2011, where she resided at the Résidence Maison-mère des Religieuses Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur, Moncton after a lengthy illness. She was 98 and in her 76th year of her religious profession. Born May 24, 1913 in Dorchester, NB, she was the daughter of the late Abel and Marie Anne (Cormier) Bourque. Besides her religious family, she is also survived by several nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by five brothers: Roméo, Ernest, Adolphe, Lionel and Jacques, and by three sisters: Azèle, Émerise (Sister Marie-Geneviève, n.d.s.c.) and Alice.
Sister Jacqueline will be resting at the Notre-Dame-d’Acadie Pavillion of the Maison-mère, 125 King St., Moncton (Godfrey Lane entrance) on Tuesday, July 12, from 2 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 13, from 9 a.m. until the funeral mass. Solemn Vespers will be held on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 in the Maison-mère chapel at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Memramcook. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Frenette Funeral Home, Moncton (858-1900).
