LEGERE, BRIAN JOSEPH - Brian died unexpectedly in his sleep of pneumonia on Saturday, July 2, 2011 in Calgary, Alberta. Brian was the son of Rene and Leona Legere of Shediac (formerly Fredericton). Born in Toronto on December 23, 1959, Brian moved with his family to Fredericton in 1973 where he graduated from Fredericton High School. During his school years he made many friends in Fredericton. After graduation Brian moved to Alberta where he attended Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT). His work in the plastics industry took him to Calgary where he has resided since. Brian leaves behind his wife Janis (Head), a son Justin (14) and daughter Kelsie (11) both at home. As well as his parents, he leaves his brothers Gregory (Dinah) of New Maryland, Wayne (Karen) of Ottawa and Alan of Fredericton; one nephew Kevin Legere of Vancouver, BC; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, many in the Fredericton area.
A private memorial service will be held in Calgary. Details of a memorial service in Fredericton will be announced at a later date.
