PARKER, WILLIAM PIRIE - (January 9, 1921 - July 13, 2011) - The passing of William Parker of the Victoria Glen Manor and formerly of South Tilley occurred on July 13, 2011 at the Victoria Glen Manor at the age of 90. Born in Tilley he was the son of the late Austin and Grace (Pirie) Parker. William is survived by six sons Brian (Mary) of Bairdsville, Robert (Bonney) of South Tilley, Floyd (Donna) of Edmonton, AB, Caroll (Linda) of Gladwyn, Chris (Sylvie Morin) of South Tilley and Andy (Ingrid) of Odell; 20 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; one brother Austin (Molly) of Ontario; and one sister Evangeline Rose of Ontario. Predeceased by his parents, wife Mavis (Tompkins) Parker, four brothers James, Ernie, Justin and Verdun, two sisters Christine and Helen.
Resting at White's Funeral Home, 20 Industrial Park St. with visiting hours on Sunday July 17th from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm. Memorial service will be held on Monday July 18th at 2 pm from Calvary Tabernacle, Perth-Andover. Interment in the South Tilley Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Southern Victoria Cancer Fund or donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
