Peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home, on Friday, September 18, 2009, of Myra MacIntosh (Prowse) nee Wood, of Charlottetown, age 102 years. Predeceased by her husbands Willard Prowse in 1974 and Clyde MacIntosh in 1998. Myra leaves to mourn her daughter Gail Jenkins (Bennett) of Charlottetown and her son Dr. Ernie Prowse (Pam), of Truro, N.S., six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson, sister Hester Miller and stepdaughter Sharon, and two step-grandchildren, all of Halifax, N.S. Predeceased by her sister Hazel MacEwen and her brothers Parker, Roland and Preston Wood. Resting at the MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel, from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22, at 2 p.m. Interment in Sherwood Cemetery.
