VAUTOUR, ANGELINE - Angeline Vautour, 91, wife of the late Léoda Vautour, of O'Bon Soins, Shediac and formerly of Bas Cap Pelé, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital University Centre, Moncton. Born January 30, 1920, in Cap Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Donat and Exelda (Bourque) Goguen. She is survived by six daughters, Carmelle Cormier, of Bas Cap Pelé, Rolande Lirette, of Waterloo, ON, Bernice Cormier (Joe), of Cap Pelé, Alma Cormier (Roméo), Laurette Duplessis (John) and Lorette Hall (Carl), all of Moncton; three sons, Donald (Dorilla), of Bas Cap Pelé, Ronald (Lucia) and Joseph "Joey" (Rachel), both of Grand Barachois; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and by many nephews and nieces. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her husband, Léoda (2010), she is also predeceased by two sisters, Hélène McGraw and Dora LeBlanc; and by six brothers, Léandre, Onésime, Alfred, Alyre, Lionel and Ephrème Goguen.
Visitation at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Rd., Cap Pelé (577-3297) on Monday, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday, from 9:30 am until time of departure 10:20 a.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste. Thérèse d'Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap Pelé on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.frenettefuneralhome.com
