LILY OLIVE GWENDOLYN CLARKE
1928 – 2010
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lily Olive Gwendolyn Clarke announces her passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale on July 4, 2011 at the age of 83. Lily Clarke was a member of the Pentecostal Church. Predeceased by her husband Calvin; parents, Ralph & Flora; sister, Phyllis and brothers Garfield, Arthur and Woodrow. Left with fond and loving memories is her daughters; Rhonda (Brad) of St. John’s and Betty (Harry) of Springdale. Also leaving to mourn granddaughter Madison; sisters Patricia and Bernetta and brother Gerald as well as a large number of nephews and nieces. Pastor Lindsey Foster assisted by Pastor Ralph Rowsell conducted the funeral service from the Pentecostal Church in Springdale on July 6, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Interment was at the Springdale Pentecostal Cemetery. Pallbearers were granddaughter Madison Andrews, son-in-law Harry Oxford, nephew Rick Webber, nieces Donna Oxford and Naida Warr and caregiver Don Maye.
