FRASER, GLENNA MAE -It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Glenna Mae Fraser in the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving family, her husband of 43 years, Randy; her daughter, Jennifer (Ross) Davidson; her son, Jeff; four grandchildren, Eric, Jessica of Surrey, B.C., Stephanie and Kyle of Medicine Hat; two sisters, Pennie (Brian) Fawcett of Moncton, NB and Debbie Kingston of Redcliff; one brother, George (Carolyn) Ross of Ottawa and her loving Golden Retriever Dog Buddy. She was predeceased by her parents, Mae and Paul Ross. Glenna was born in Moncton, NB on April, 14, 1949 and graduated from Harrison Trimble High School in 1968 where she met her husband. In 1972, Glenna and family moved to Edmonton and then to Red Deer before finally settling in Redcliff. Glenna spent several years working in a clerical position in the automotive industry and spent the last 23 years working for ATB Financial. Glenna loved to spend time with her family camping and fishing. She was a hockey grandmother who enjoyed watching her grandkids playing hockey and her granddaughter performing gymnastics. Glenna loved to travel, especially her trip with the girls to New York and her Hawaii Cruise with family and friends. She enjoyed working for ATB Financial and was loved by her co-workers and customers alike. Glenna love to shop till she dropped and enjoyed surprising people as she always put others needs ahead of her own.
The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Blaine Schaufele officiating.
