The death occurred at the P.E.I. Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home on Tuesday, September 22, 2009, of Mrs. Mabel Alberta Sherren of Charlottetown, age 93 years.
Beloved wife of the late Arthur Sherren and dear mother of Ada (Stuart) Drummond, Bill Sherren, Mabel Ross (Clarence Birt), Donna (Avard) Clow, Ann (Doug) Reid, Gail (Doug) Weatherbie and Wendy Sherren. She is also lovingly remembered by her 20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and her sister, Gertrude (Bud) McIntyre.
She was predeceased by her parents, Dr. Albert and Mabel (Parkman) Fraser; infant son, Arthur Alan; sisters, Florence Murphy and Frieda Bruce; brothers, Albert, George, Austin, A.A. Joey, Parkman Fraser and twin brothers, Lovat and Francis Fraser.
Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place later in the People's Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of P.E.I. or the CNIB.
