Passed peacefully away on July 21, 2011 at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, Mrs. Ella Mary Joy of Bishop’s Falls. She was 92 years of age. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter; sons, Harold and Leslie; sisters, Alice and Jessie; brother, George. She leaves to mourn her sons, James (June), Leonard (Jean), Norman (Betty Mae), Paul (Gale), Ralph (Betty) and Owen (Mary); daughters, Shirley (Retis) Hancock, Margaret (Lindaus) Perry, Ruby (George) White, Glennie (Gerald) Stuckless, Wavey (Kevin) Ellis, Judy (Bill) Harnum and Darlene (Jerry) Dillon. Also leaving to mourn are her 32 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren and a circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Norman Joy conducted funeral services at Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle, Bishop’s Falls on Sunday, July 24, 2011 with interment at the Pentecostal Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home, Bishop’s Falls. Pallbearers were her sons, Norman, James, Paul, Ralph, Owen and grandson David.
