It is with great sadness that the family of the late Patrick Walsh announce his passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Centre, Harbour Breton, NL on Sunday July 24, 2011 at the age of 85. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife: Marie; children: Margaret (Gary Walsh), Comox, BC, Joan (Ron Kendall), Labrador City, NL, Bernadette Bowles, St. Alban’s, NL, Germaine (Eric Crant), Milltown, NL, Linda Walsh & Gerard both of St. Alban’s, NL; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers: Ben (Beatrice), St. Joseph’s Cove, NL & Joe (Josephine), St. Alban’s, NL; sisters: Liz Organ, St. Alban’s, NL & Thelma Walsh, Burgeo, NL; sister in law: Mary Walsh, St. Alban’s, NL as well as a large circle of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: John & Sarah; three infant children: Mary, Shirley Ann, & Theresa; great-granddaughter: Sianne Brushett; sister: Mary; brothers in law: Bob Dollimont & Edgar Organ. The funeral service was held on Wednesday July 27, 2011 at 2 pm at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban’s with Father Alberto Adaza officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
