Passed on: July 23rd, 2011

It is with great sadness that the family of BRANDON KIRK HEIN announce his sudden passing on July 23, 2011 in Kamloops, B.C.
Brandon was born on November 16, 1991, in Prince Rupert, B.C.
He is survived by his loving parents Lisa Tavender and Kirk Hein. Brandon was deeply loved by his grandparents; Colleen Fitzpatrick and Gary Johnston, Lynda Tavender and Ed Tavender. He is survived by his uncle Jay (Rayna), auntie Kimmie (Jay), auntie Kasey (Ryan), uncle Jason, uncle Troy, auntie Monika, great grandmothers Marjorie Fitzpatrick and Isabell Green, along with many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Brandon is also remembered by Grandpa Hein and papa Ken Paul.
Brandon moved to Kamloops at age eight and attended Dallas Elementary School, where he met his lifelong friends. Although Brandon was an only child, he was regarded as a brother to all, and was known affectionately as "Uncle B" to his friend's children. Brandon graduated from Valleyview Secondary School in 2009, and was waiting for life to decide what his journey would be.
If Brandon was not at home you could be sure to find him enjoying his dirt bike, hunting, fishing at the lakes (no matter the weather) or at the ball park. Quick witted and full of fun, Brandon lived his life on his terms.
A Celebration of Brandon's life will be held at Dallas Elementary School, 296 Harper Road, Kamloops, BC, on Saturday, July 30, 2011, at 1:30 p.m., with a reception to follow at Sciutto Lake where Brandon loved to fish. Please dress casually, as we join Brandon in his favourite meal of hotdogs and mustard.
Forever in our hearts, Brandon is not really gone, he's just ridden off on his dirt bike and Gone Fishin'.
