Entered into rest at his residence, Franktown, Ont., on July 28, 2011, in his 68th year.
Beloved husband and best friend of Susan (Betts) Walzak and dear father of Sean Hartwell (Lynn), Chris Murphy and Aaron Miller (Brad). Fondly remembered by his four grandchildren, Zoe and Finn Hartwell and Ashley, Kole and Brady Miller. Son of June Beyers (Ray) and the late John Murphy. He is survived by his siblings: sister, Bernetta White and brother, Frank Murphy and half sisters, Karen Paul and Dodie Caron and predeceased by a half brother, Ross Beyers.
A celebration of John's life will be held at the Trinity United Church, 41 Market Street North, Smiths Falls, on Monday, August 8, 2011, at 10 a.m. followed by a reception in the church hall. In memoriams to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Smiths Falls SPCA will be gratefully acknowledged.
Arrangements are entrusted with the Irvine Funeral Home & Chapel, 4 James St. East, Brockville, Ont.
Cremation has taken place at Roselawn Crematorium, Maitland.
