Passed peacefully away on August 9, 2011 at the Central NL Regional Health Care Centre, Patrick James Hennessey of Grand Falls-Windsor, at the age of 85 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Thomas Hennessey; brothers, John, Tom, Michael, Cyril, Edward; sisters, Mary, Isabel, Florence, Pauline, Eileen, Gertrude and Myrtis. Left to mourn are his wife, Phoebe; sons, Terry (Marlene), Bryan, Peter; daughter, Kelly (Fred). Also left to mourn are his nine grandchildren, Karl, Terry, Casey, Dillon, Brady, Jamie, Kristy, Patty, Bryan and Carrie; five great-grandchildren, Ethan, Ella, Addison, Tegan and Keely; sisters, Rose (Angus deceased) Lane; brothers, James, Bill (Minda); sister-in-law, Joan Hennessey and a circle of other relatives and friends. Father Kevin Barker conducted the funeral mass at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011 with interment at St. Joseph’s cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home, Grand Falls-Windsor. Pallbearers were his daughter-in-law, Marlene; grandsons, Karl, Terry, Casey, Brady and Dillon.
