September 23, 1949 - September 3, 2009. With great sorrow Dan’s family announces his passing away at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital on September 3, 2009, at the age of 59. He will be forever missed by his loving wife Regina and adored daughter Leah. Also mourning his untimely passing are his four sisters; Alice Murray of Virginia, USA; Christine (Ray) Cook of Texas, USA; Nicola Arnold of Michigan, USA and Barbara Ore of Virginia, USA; one brother, David (Lynda) of Victoria, BC; two brothers-in-law, Angus Crocker (Regina) of Marystown, NL and Eugene Crocker (Glenis) of Edmonton, AB; two sisters-in-law, Madonna (John) Hollett of Bellevue Beach, NL and Juanita Crocker of Swift Current, NL; numerous nieces and nephews; and one very special aunt, Ivy McGarvie of St. John’s, NL. Dan was predeceased by his brother James (Teresa), of Stephenville; his father and mother, Chester and Elva (Granville); and sister, Geraldine Strong. Dan’s ashes have been interred at United Church Cemetery in Swift Current, NL.
