Leah Fournier
1936 – 2023
Leah, a vibrant and beloved member of the Philipsburg community, passed away peacefully at the age of 87, November 14th, 2023.
It is with great sadness the family of Leah Fournier Della Porta announce her passing. Daughter of the late Léopold Fournier and the late Gertrude Larivière.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Victoria (Martin), her siblings Roger (Pam), Janet, Paul (Marlene), Marlene (Peter), Donna, Mark. Her step grandson Victor. Her nieces Deena, Joanne, Bonnie, Michaela, Denise.

Her nephews Richard, David. Her dear friends Peggy, Jeannine, Pierrette, Lucille, Manon and many others.
She was predeceased by her sister late Helen, brother the late Jean-Louis, and her late niece Shadia.
Leah was a bundle of energy and a social butterfly. Everyone in town knew Leah!
She most loved taking walks along the lake in Philipsburg, cooking and gatherings.
Sadly, her health diminished over the last 4 years, and she fought strong with each challenge.
We have so many great memories of Leah. She will always be in our hearts.

On Saturday November 25th 2023, starting at 9:30 followed by a celebration of her life that will take place at the funeral home at noon.
After the ceremony refreshments will be served. Burial of her ashes will take place at a later date at the Philipsburg Catholic Cemetery.
