RICHARD, OVILA - Ovila Richard, 63, of Petit Cap, passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, Moncton following a lengthy illness. Born August 2, 1948 in Petit Cap, he was the son of the late Dosithé (1987) and Rita (LeBlanc) (2011) Richard. He previously worked at Ouellette Sea Products. He is survived by his two sons, Ramsey, of Toronto, ON and Dean, of Vancouver, BC; four sisters, Anna Fagan, of Calgary, AB, Annette Jacob (Aris) and Pauline Richard (Gary), both of Petit Cap and Mona Cameron (Mitchell), of Dieppe; five brothers, Albert (Brenda), of PEI, Donald (Becky), Danny (Cathy) and Brian (Josie), all of Shemogue and Réginald, of Petit Cap; and by many nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents, he is also predeceased by a brother, Roger.
Visitation at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé (577-3297) on Tuesday, August 16 from 7 to 9 pm ONLY. No visitation prior to the funeral mass on Wednesday. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Timothée Roman Catholic Church, Shemogue on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 10:30 am. Interment in the Shemogue parish cemetery.
