The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011 of LeRoy Campbell of Kensington, P.E.I.. LeRoy was born on Nov. 2, 1924 in Irishtown, to his late parents Preston and Etta (nee Arthur) Campbell. Survived by his wife of 68 years Ruby (nee Cotton) Campbell; his children Kathryn (George) Doughart and special son Jason Silliker (Melanie Bertrand); grandchildren Carrie and Ronda Campbell, Gordon and Allison Doughart, Maggie and Danny Campbell and Cayden Silliker; great grandchildren Carson and Caitlyn Doughart; brother Arthur (Roma) and nephew Roy. Besides his parents, LeRoy was predeceased by his son Ronald. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday, Aug. 18, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in Geddie Memorial Cemetery, Springbrook.
