DYCK - Ike (Isaac), son of the late Peter and Sarah Dyck, formerly of Blumenhof, SK passed away peacefully in hospital at Surrey, BC on August 1, 2011 following cardiac arrest he suffered while en route to a Dyck family reunion at Chilliwack, BC. Ike was predeceased by his parents, two brothers and a half-sister. He is survived by one sister and six brothers and their families. Ike leaves to especially mourn his passing his faithful and beloved wife, Gail and their two loving sons, Todd and Tim. After studying in several learning institutions and graduation, Ike embarked on and successfully completed a professional career in hospital administration and management in Peace River, AB. Following retirement, the Ike and Gail Dyck family relocated to their lovely and comfortable home in Edmonton. Services honouring Ike Dyck were held in Edmonton, AB on Friday, August 12 and Saturday, August 13. “Please, LORD, teach us to laugh again; but God, don’t ever let us forget that we cried.” B. Wilson
