The death occurred at the Prince Edward Home, Charlottetown, on Tuesday, August 16, 2011, of Dot Malcom (nee Doiron) of Oyster Bed Bridge, formerly of North Vancouver, age 79.
She is survived by her children, Janice, Oyster Bed Bridge and Gordon, Vancouver; her beloved grandson, Ethan Malcom, Oyster Bed Bridge; and the father of her children, Barry Malcom, Richmond, B.C.
Dot is also survived by her sisters and brothers, Noreen, Eddie (Nassie), Lin Glenister, Rollie (Madeline), Marie Kostal (Joe), Joan Blacquiere (Herbie), Lloyd (Brenda), Joyce Aimers (Brian), Alan and Kenny; special cousin, Ruby MacCallum; sisters-in-law, Gertie, Stella and Pam Doiron and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Rod, North Vancouver; her parents, Peter and Lillian (Ford) Doiron, Grand Pére Point; brothers and sisters, Philip, Melvin, Clayton, Roy, Bill and Diane Doiron and Audrey Reid (Bernie).
No visitation or funeral by personal request. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Dot, may be made directly to the Salvation Army.
