It is with great sadness that on August 9, 2011 at the St. Boniface General Hospital, in Winnipeg, Dawn Marie Lindsay lost a short battle with cancer at the young and tender age of 38. She fought courageously until her very last breath and waking moment.

Dawn was a beautiful, young, loving mother to Carter and Madison, wife to Dan, daughter to Gayle and sister to Kory and Kent. She will be greatly missed, forever loved, and always in our hearts.

Dawn and her memories will never be forgotten as she joins her father Deny Kirouac on her next journey as one of God's Angels. Dawn wanted to say a sincere and loving goodbye to all her loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who will cherish their memories and moments of her life. Everyone has a special place in heart!

Dawn was a wife and mother who suffered with scleroderma for the last 14 years of her life. She suffered pain daily, whether it was her critical illness or other ailments. Her will to keep strong and provide for her family and loved ones is a true testament to Dawn's determination and courage to push through and enjoy everything that life has to offer.

A Service to wish Dawn good bye and pass her over to the Lord will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Catholic Church of Sacred Heart, 808-11th Street South, Golden, BC.

God saw you getting tired
