Dennis Joseph Amero, 59, of Winnipeg, Man., passed away Aug. 13, 2011, after a battle with cancer in hospital in Winnipeg. Born in Plympton on Aug. 28, 1951, he was the son of the late Russell and Lillian Amero. He had been living in Winnipeg for the past 30 years and really enjoyed music. Surviving are his sisters, Eunice Mah, British Columbia; Patsy (Herman) Lemmon, Musquodoboit; Betty Amero, Weymouth; Linda Sullivan, Grosse Coques; Blanch (Freeman) Rice, Weymouth North; Nora (Richard) Ford, Hilltown; Juanita (Frank) Gavel, Hilltown; Judy Amero, Weymouth; brothers, Keith Amero, Weymouth; Wayne Amero, Weymouth; daughter, Shawna Bright and four grandchildren in Saint John, N.B. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Raymond Amero, and infant brother, Richard. Cremation has taken place in Winnipeg. Funeral service will take place in Holy Cross cemetery in Plympton at a later date. Sadly missed and love by all your family.
