The death occurred suddenly as the result of an accident in North St. Eleanors on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, of Thomas “Tom” Capstick of Merriam Drive, Summerside, aged 70 years. Born in Sydney Mines, N.S., he was the son of Priscilla (Decoste) Stubblefield, Ottawa, Ont., and the late Murdock Capstick. Survived by his wife, Amarallis (Harrietha) Capstick, Summerside, son, Duane (Jennifer) Capstick, Trenton, Ont., daughters, Wendy Capstick, Ottawa, Ont., Colleen Capstick, Ottawa, Ont., grandson, Brian Capstick, Moose Jaw, Sask., sisters, Margaret Capstick, Que., Debra (Michael) Azar, Ottawa, Ont., and Beverly Capstick, Ottawa, Ont. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. Visiting hours Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A graveside committal service will take place later in Cape Breton, N.S.
