We seldom ask for miracles
But today just one would do
To see the door open wide
And see our son walk through
When we recall the good times
And the things you used to say
It's then we miss you most of all
Especially today
To raise a son and lose him
It's a hurt nobody knows
Except all other parents
Who have traveled down that road
Always missed
