RICHARD, YVON - Yvon Richard, 82, Haute Aboujagane passed away on Monday, August 29, 2011 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital University Centre, Moncton. Born October 27, 1928 in Haute Aboujagane, he was the son of the late Alderic and Agnes (Cormier) Richard. Prior to his retirement, he worked for Gilford Insulation. Yvon will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 57 years Adlessa (Landry) Richard, two daughters: Léa LeBlanc (Thomas) of Shediac and Rachelle LeBlanc (Maurice) of Haute Aboujagane; two sons: Oscar (Gaétanne) and Gilles (Monique) both of Haute Aboujagane; four sisters: Dorilla Dallaire (Aubrey), Florence LeBlanc (late François), Emerise Porelle (late Azor) and Huberte Bourque (Normand) all of Haute Aboujagane; two brothers: Arthur (late Alice) and Norbert (Florence) both of Haute Aboujagane; seven grandchildren: Kevin, Shawn, Jesse, Josée,, Vincent, Ryan and Nikki; one great grandchild Danika and by many nephews, nieces and friends. He is predeceased by four sisters: Lucie, Yvonne, Rose and Dorice and by four brothers: Adrice, Éric, Camille and Ulysse.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be held at Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Haute Aboujagane on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery.
