HILL - Gary ‘Bim’ 1952 ~ 2011
It is with deepest regret we say goodbye to Gary “Bim” Gordon Hill who found comfort and peace on August 26, 2011, at the age of 59 years, at Medicine Hat Regional Hospital. Bim will be lovingly remembered by his spouse, Barbara; children, Vanessa (Shan), Lee (Julie), Christina (Brad), Danna (Jason), Charlie (Drew); 11 grandchildren, Courtney, Austin, Ryker, Josie, Zsjena, Memphis, Shiann, Ashlynn, Madysan, Trace, Morgan; one great-grandson, Keegan. Bim will also be dearly missed by his brothers, Bob (Shirley), Jerry (Donna), Dale (Lou); sisters, Pam (Donald) and Bev (Curt), along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Bim was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Louise; grandparents, Bill and Louise Oman and his sister, Millie. Friends and family were of the utmost importance to Bim for he was known for his outgoing and playful personality, endless pursuit of knowledge and information, and love for his children and grandchildren. Bim’s family would like to extend their deepest gratitude towards all the doctors, nurses and staff, who provided care for him over the past five months. A Celebration of Bim’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 - 13 Street S.W. on Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. with Life Celebrant Gerry Getz officiating.
