Born and raised in North Williamston, she was the only daughter of the late Harlan and Goldie (Hoffman) Bent. She was a beloved wife to the late Harold LeRoy Elliott for over 45 years. Joyce will forever be remembered by her loving brothers Gerald “Bud” (Marion), Claude and William “Bill” (deceased) Bent, her devoted sons Hal (Donna) and Wayne (Darlene), her beloved grandchildren Kristen, Stacy, Samantha, Katy (Colin) and Travis, numerous nieces and nephews along with countless other friends and family who were blessed to know her.
