C'est avec une profonde tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de notre cher père, Victor Lowry. Vic est décédé paisiblement, entouré de sa famille, le dimanche 4 mai 2025, à l'aube de ses 85 ans. Vic et Helen ont été mariés pendant 59 ans, et elle est décédée en 2018. Père adoré de Cheryl (Mike), Laurel et Kimberly (Yves), grand-père aimant de Michael (Annie), Marc (Kaylie), Angel et Corey. Il était également un arrière-grand-père très fier de Heidi, Viktor et Sofiya. Il était le fils bien-aimé de feu Manly Lowry et Annie McVety, le frère affectueux de feu Francis (feu Peggy), feu Wayne (Claudette), Jimmy (Carol), (feu Claire), feu Roger (Lili), feu Patricia ainsi que le beau-frère de Lody (feu John). Les neveux, nièces, cousins, cousines, de nombreux amis et connaissances de la communauté se souviendront affectueusement de Vic. Il a apporté beaucoup à notre communauté et tous ceux qui ont eu le plaisir de le connaître et de l'aimer se souviendront de lui avec affection. Notre famille remercie sincèrement tous les médecins et infirmières de l'Hôpital de Thetford et du CLSC ainsi que tout le personnel de la Résidence Denis Marcotte, y compris les Drs Arata et Senay. Les funérailles auront lieu le samedi 31 mai à 14 h à l'église Candlish United Church, 311, rue des Fondateurs, Kinnear's Mills. Un repas suivra à l'école de Kinnear's Mills.

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our dear father Victor Lowry. Vic passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday May 4th just a few days short of his 85th birthday. Vic and Helen were married for 59 years, and she passed away in 2018. Cherished Father to Cheryl (Mike), Laurel and Kimberly (Yves). Loving Grandfather (Grampy) to Michael (Annie), Marc (Kaylie), Angel and Corey. Proud Great-Grandfather to Heidi, Viktor, and Sofyia. Beloved son to the late Manly Lowry and Annie McVety. Loving brother to the late Francis (the late Peggy), the late Wayne (Claudette), Jimmy (Carol), (the late Claire), the late Roger (Lili), (the late Patricia). Brother in-law to Lody (the late John). Vic will be fondly remembered by nephews, nieces, cousins, many friends and community acquaintances. Our family offers sincere thanks to all the doctors and nurses at Thetford Hospital and CLSC, all the staff at Residence Denis-Marcotte, including Dr. Arata and Dr. Senay. Vic meant so much to our community and will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure to know and love him.
