
A. Nyall Lambe
Peacefully, after a short but courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his family at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home, Charlottetown, on Sept. 3, 2011, of A. Nyall Lambe of Canoe Cove and formerly of Emerald, aged 70 years.
Born in Emerald, August 4, 1941, son of Rita (Mallett) Lambe and the late Arthur Lambe. Beloved husband of Ruth (MacFarlane) Lambe and the late Adelaide (Mulligan) Lambe. Brother of Sheila Mulligan (James Chaiser), Florida; Anna Gayle Strumberger (the late Tony), Charlottetown; Sharleen (Barry) Martin, Stratford; Keith (Noreen) Lambe, Fort Augustus; Mike (Paula) Lambe, Charlottetown; and Cathy (David) Livingstone, Stratford. Stepfather of Jim (Kathleen) Carlsen, Calgary; Bonnie (Charlie) Ralph, DeSable; Cindy (Darren) Darbyson, Crapaud; Rosie MacFarlane (Daryl Guignon), DeSable; and Matthew (Johanna) MacFarlane, Augustine Cove. Stepgrandfather of Mackenzie and Cameron Ralph, Erik Carlsen, Morgan, Rachel and Hanna Darbyson and Evelyn and Harrison Guignon. Also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews from the Carlsen, MacFarlane, Mulligan, and Lambe families.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington. No visitation by personal request. Funeral mass Thursday, September 8, 2011, at St. James Church, Summerfield, at 10 a.m. Immediately following the funeral mass you are invited to meet with family at the Emerald Rec. Centre. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
