Theresa Elizabeth (Anderson) Stewart, born Aug. 13, 1927, died Monday, Sept. 5, 2011, at the Northside General Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Robert and Josephine (MacNamara) Anderson.
She is survived by her daughters, Thelma Cashen (Daniel), Sheila Perry, Marilyn Perry (Peter), Brenda Collis (Barry) and her sons, James (Donna), Robert (Cathy) and Douglas. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Angus, brothers, John and Bernard, son-in-law, John Perry and daughter-in-law, Kimberly Stewart.
The family extends thanks to Dr. Patrick O’Grady and the staff of 4 West, Northside General for their excellent care and their kindness and compassion to family members. Thanks as well to Dr. Paul MacDonald and staff for their kindness and care over the years.
Honouring Theresa’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church with Fr. Thomas John officiating.
Donations in Theresa’s memory may be made to a charity of choice.
