With great sadness we announce the passing of Barbara “Barb” Lou-Anne Mary Lincoln-MacDonald on Sept. 6, 2011, in O’Leary, P.E.I., (formerly of Hamilton, Ontario) after a courageous battle with cancer, with Bentley and her niece, Terry, by her side. Beloved spouse of Bentley, stepmother of Cathy Williams (Jason Dennis) and grandmother of Nathan. Survived by mother, Shirley LeCouter and brothers, Robert (Debra), Calvin (Shelley), Wesley (Mable), Mark (Danielle), Glenn, Carl (Liz) and Joe (Denise); brothers and sisters-in-law Blaine (Doreen), Gale Getson, Candy, Wendy (Peter) McAleer, Wade (Angie), Brett (Val), Sonya (Brian) Ramsay; also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Robert, and brother, Kevin, brothers-in-law Dennis MacDonald, Bob Carscadden, and Billy Getson. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Canadian Cancer Society or O’Leary Fire Department. Family and friends are invited to attend a “Celebration of Life” for Barb on Sunday, Sept. 11, from 2-4 p.m. at the family home, 462 Main St., O’Leary, P.E.I.
