LÉGER, ÉVELINE - Éveline Léger, 96, wife of the late Raymond Léger formerly of Haute Aboujagane passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at the Villa Providence, Shediac. Born in Haute Aboujagane February 9, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Anida (Boudreau) Drisdelle. She leaves to mourn her sister Hermine Poirier (Philias) of Dieppe, and several nephews and nieces. Besides her husband Raymond (1982), she is also predeceased by four sisters: Clara Boudreau, Rosalie Boudreau, Édia Boudreau and Geneva Gould, and by a brother Saül Drisdelle.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Friday, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Haute Aboujagane on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. by her nephew Father Normand Drisdelle.
